IRPA Appeal Process
The Immigration & Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) appeal process can be confusing, and is different for temporary residents (TR) and permanent residents (PR), and for inland or overseas appellants.
Generally, the appeal process involves these venues:
| 7- SCC | Supreme Court of Canada | |
| 6- FCA | Federal Court of Appeal | |
| 5- FC | Federal Court | |
| 4- IAD | Immigration Appeal Division | |
| 3- IRB ID | Immigration Refugee Board, Immigration Division | |
| 2- CBSA | Canada Border Services Agency | |
| 1- IRCC | Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada |
